About The Office of the Secretary of the University and of the BOR

The Office of the University Secretary and of the Board of regents is to provide services to the University and to the Board of Regents,

Notify the Regents of All meeting of the board and to send each Regents a copy of agenda at least 7 days before scheduled meeting;
to keep records of its proceedings;
to furnish a copy of the minutes within reasonable time;
to provide secretarial service to the Board of Regents;
the custodian of records, is an ex-officio member of all committees, bodies of the University involved in the formulation/implementation of policies;

CHED and MSU BOR Chairperson, Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, administered the Oath of Office of Regent Hassan during the 265th Regular Meeting of the MSU Board of Regents. Regent Hassan succeeds Hon. Veanamari Elise V. Santillan as Student Regent of the University

MSU Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography Celebrates its 54th Charter Day with Atty. Abantas as Guest Speaker last August 4, 2023.

The Secretary of the University and of the Board of Regents, Atty. Shidik Zed T. Abantas, served as its Guest Speaker. In his speech, he emphasized the gratitude of MSU System to MSU-TCTO to being the able arm of the system in Tawi-tawi. He also thanked the men and women who nurtured TCTO to its success today.
