MSU-OVPAF is committed to:

Promote and strengthen cooperation in all offices and shall see to it that all units and sub-units function efficiently; Respond to globalization trends through partnerships and collaborative relationships with government agencies overseeing administrative and finance matters, national and international universities, and other relevant institutions.

Secure and oversee the implementation of administrative issuances necessary to the efficient and effective administration of different units under the administrative and finance offices;

Transform the university through investments in human resource development, research extension, infrastructures, and equipment. Assist, the University in enhancing its visibility through production of high-impact researches and inoovations

VISION

OVPAF aims to become a catalyst for sustainable and equitable development of the different campuses of the Mindanao State University System.

MISSION

To provide substantive and relevant inputs for system wide planning, monitoring ,review and coordination of policies, programs, systems and standards pertaining to human resource administration, fiscal management, physical campus development, supply and property management, income generating programs, health services and general administrative services. And in the dispensation of its services. OVPAF shall uphold what is right, what is true, and what is fair to all.

In addition to the tradition function of its office, OVPAF aims to pursuit and realize University objectives, programs and activities. It will continue to aspire for the betterment of the University by recommending measure to improve scheme on its ways and means.

In brief, the OVPAF acts as an instrument for assistance in national policy formulation n addition to its traditional function as an institution of higher learning.
