As an academic unit of Mindanao State University, the King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies was established to promote Arabic and Islamic Studies in the southern Philippines. As the first government institution in the country to offer Islamic and Arabic Studies, it was required to prioritize the Master of Arts in Islamic Studies program with a concentration in Islamic Studies.

The Master of Arts in Islamic Studies major in Muslim Law is designed as a program that will give necessary and required knowledge, competency and skills as a pre-requisite or condition sine qua non to some position created by a law. Furthermore, the program aims to develop a qualified and competent Muslim legal professional who have expertise on the various aspects of the administration of Islamic Law, Shari’ah legal profession and judiciary.

If you are one of those individuals that have interest on the questions concerning international security, terrorism, trade, wars, human rights, state to state relations that occurs across the boundaries of states, the broader relationships of which such behavior is a part, and the institutions (private, state, nongovernmental, and intergovernmental) that oversee those interactions. Explanations of that behavior may be sought at any level of human aggregation and peace-building in order to apply this understanding to real-world work, this is the best degree for you.

Studying Bachelor of Science in International Relations equips its students with the ideal opportunity in gaining insights on Global issues both in past and present issues that the world is stumble upon, to enhance its graduates to be aware in the dynamics of Global affairs, to have a graduates that are globally competitive in topics on International Relations, and lastly, to have a graduates that are emissaries and envoys of peace in the World stage.
