Department of Physics

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is committed to the following:

1. To provide students with adequate background in natural sciences and mathematics;
2. To provide students with a strong foundation in their field of discipline relevant to the pursuit of higher education;
3. To train students for service, particularly in the area of specialization in science ultimately contribute to the development of the entire nation;
4. To promote scientific research; and
5. T0 upgrade the faculty members’ competence in instruction and research.

Objectives of the Department

1. Lead in Physics instruction, research and extension, technology and innovation.
2. Inspire unity through collaboration with various institutions and agencies in the advancement of Physics education and research.
3. Foster academic integrity among faculty, staff, and students.
4. Train students to become competent, morally upright, and service oriented physicists.
