Dr. Ibrahim Hadji Caya Aliponto is a Senior University Museum Researcher. Ebs, as his friends call him, is a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) with over ten years of combined experience in teaching and administrative activities. He is member of the Board of Directors and Vice President in Iqra Development Academy, Inc. He also worked in Saudi Arabia as Executive Secretary to the President of Algihaz Holdings. He was also a part-time Instructor of the College of Education and Liberal Arts in Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia (JPI), Marawi City. He taught major courses in Education, History, Political Science and other courses in Liberal Arts.
Prior to his designation, he worked at MSU Graduate School. He is now designated as Director of Records Management Office. He is a graduate of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Management. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in International Relations (BSIR) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) major in Human Resource Management from Mindanao State University – Main Campus, Marawi City.
His master’s thesis entitled, “Status and Problems in Eco-Cultural Tourism Programs in the City Government of Marawi” and his doctoral dissertation entitled, “Leadership Roles and Service Quality Provision in Public Preschool Education in Regional Centers in Mindanao” was both cited as Outstanding Papers and published in the Official Journal of the university.
Ebs loves learning. He also earned courses in Professional Education, Early Childhood Education, Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and post graduate courses in Philippine Studies.
He has held leadership positions in various student associations as President of Graduate School Student Council (GSSC). He received Leadership and Graduate School Distinguished Service Awardee during his graduation.
He had actively attended and participated in various seminars, conferences and conventions on different themes and topics related to records & archives management, data privacy protection, research, education, public administration, culture and arts.
