Sinayanan’Zahra’ D. Macararic was born on November 25, 1965 at Cadayonan, Baloi, Lanao del Norte. She joined the Faculty force of the Mindanao State University, Marawi Campus last July 27, 1990. She had been serving as an Arabic mentor under the Arabic department of the King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic, and Asian Studies (KFCIAAS), of the same University. She had been in the task of enlightening the learners in the field of Arabic grammar aligned with the language competencies related to Islamic discipline.
Ms. Macararic is an alumna of this University where she obtained her Bachelor degree BS Teaching Arabic in 1987. She is a PBET passer, and a Shari’ah law barrister. She furthered her studies after the University had awarded her the “Academic Personnel Development Program (APDP)” scholarship grant, and later graduated as an academic excellence awardee in 2018.
During her tenure, she persistently engaged in research particularly in Arabic Grammar. Consequently, her efforts brought on her book: “Fundamental Principles of Arabic Grammar” which she published personally in 2020. She is blessed in her well-deserved promotions to the middle ranks being an Assistant Professor in the previous years into Associate Professor V in 2022. Her entire life in the University is full of discovery. She’s been flexible in adopting innovations that are relevant to quality education. She is professionally growing as she embarks with the different learning challenges. Her life in this University is worth living.
