University hostel, nestled at the heart of our vibrant campus not only continued to serve our university community and visitors but have also set new benchmarks in operational excellence, sustainability and guest satisfaction. Prior to its rebranding as University Hostel, the facility operated exclusively for university constituents and alumni is, inaccessible to the general public. It underwent transformation under the former President administration in 2016, evolving into an income-generating unit following extensive building renovations. Consequently, we now welcome a diverse array of guests from outside the campus, marking our transition to a publicly accessible accommodation. Since its establishment, the Hostel has demonstrated resilience, adaptability and a steadfast commitment to excellence. The University Hostel is making significant strides in enhancing the living experience for its residents, promoting sustainability, fostering community, and supporting academic and personal growth. 

Strategically located just in front of the san Antonio Isidro Hall, the University Hostel is situated within walking distance of academic buildings, libraries, and recreational facilities, thus offering unparalleled convenience. It is monitored 24/7 with Security CCTV and health protocols are strictly implemented thus ensures a safe and secured environment

Mission

1. To provide a descent, convenient, safe and comfortable accommodation and services, effectively to all MSU guests.
2. To become a venue of practical exercises for the College of Hotel and Restaurant Management (CHARM) students.
3. To become an exemplar hostel in Marawi City, as it not only serve as accommodation for MSU guests but provide an enjoyable and rewarding working environment for our employees and serves as an income generating unit of the University.

2. Cost efficient as it will save the university much instead of housing guest outside.
