The Computer Science Department is one of the two departments of the College of Information and Computing Sciences. It is headed by the current chairperson, Janice F. Wade. The department offers an undergraduate program on Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with specialized tracks for students’ specific study of interest.
The department offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of computer science disciplines, including programming, software development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and more. Our courses are designed to provide a solid foundation in both theoretical principles and practical applications, ensuring that students are well-prepared to address contemporary challenges and seize emerging opportunities in technology.
