Notice of Search for MSU-Buug Chancellor

Pursuant to BOR Resolution No. 2, S. 2024, the Board of Regents of the Mindanao State University System formally and publicly announces that the Search for the MSU – Buug Campus Chancellor is NOW OPEN.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Filipino citizen;
2. Must be at least 35 years old but not be more than 60¹ years old at the time of application;
3. Holder of a Doctorate degree² from a reputable CHED-recognized higher education institution;
4. Demonstrated understanding of the unique mandate of the Mindanao State University and the peculiar needs of the campus in question;
5. Commendable supervisory or managerial experience preferably in higher education institution, whether public or private, for at least 5 years;
6. Proven dedication to community involvement, demonstrated through successful partnerships with educational institutions, government entities, industry sectors, and other relevant stakeholders;
7. Conduct and integrity beyond reproach;

Documentary Requirements

1. Letter of intent addressed to:

2. An outline of their plans and visions (Concept Paper);

3. Curriculum Vitae;

4. Proof of credentials;

5. A clearance from the Office of the Ombudsman, National Bureau of Investigation, and the Civil Service Commission;

6. PSA – authenticated Birth Certificate;

7. Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a physician from any DOH accredited health institutions but not the same institution where the applicant is presently employed; and

8. Duly accomplished CSC Form 212 made under oath.

The Search Committee for Chancellor reserves the right to validate and verify the authenticity of documents submitted and the right to accept or reject any document that it deems to be questionable.

An applicant who does not meet any one of the abovementioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit pertinent supporting pieces of documentary evidence for these minimum qualifications on the set deadline shall be disqualified from the Search Process.

IMPORTANT: Interested applicants must submit one (1) set of original, six (6) certified photocopies, and the softcopy of the aforementioned documents on or before September 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time) to:
