Mindanao State University (MSU) Main Campus doesn’t have a single “Special Concerns Office,” but several departments address various student and community needs. The Admissions Office handles enrollment and scholarships; the Office of Alumni Relations and Career Center assists with career development and job placement; the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension, & Development oversees research and community development projects; and the Panginam Healing and Wellness Center provides mental health and psychosocial support. These offices collectively offer support for a wide range of concerns, although specific inquiries should be directed to MSU for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

The Mindanao State University Special Concerns Office focuses on helping students with various challenges beyond their studies. This can include offering support for academic difficulties, and personal issues. This office promotes diversity and inclusion by addressing discrimination, advocating for underrepresented groups, and creating a welcoming environment for all MSUans. Additionally, they engage with the local community on social issues. The main goal is to provide resources and assistance to ensure all students have a positive, safe, and successful experience.
Not only does Mindanao State University provide you the practical skills that is necessary to transition seamlessly into the workforce upon your graduation, but we also make sure that you will have a good sense of social justice so that you make the transition responsibly.
