Kasugay 2.0: Rise of the Regions concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony at the Dimaporo Gymnasium on February 4, 2025, leaving a legacy of talent, unity, and shared accomplishment.  The four-day event fostered camaraderie and a strong sense of community among MSU constituents and participating regions.

MSU System President Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno’s welcome address was delivered by Vice President for Planning and Development, Engr. Rodrigo S. Baid, emphasizing the unifying power of shared goals and collaboration, setting a celebratory tone for the awards ceremony.

The event showcased a diverse range of talents.  MSU employees competed in a spirited singing competition, while the dancing competition captivated audiences with visually stunning choreography and expressive performances.

The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the year’s champions. The Reapers claimed gold, a testament to their superb skill and indomitable spirit.  The Venturers earned a well-deserved silver, demonstrating remarkable daring and unyielding tenacity. The Weavers skillfully secured bronze, showcasing flawless teamwork and unwavering devotion. The Voyagers were also recognized for their tireless perseverance and steadfast resolve.

In her closing remarks, Prof. Hendely Adlawan summarized the event’s resounding success and expressed anticipation for future Kasugay events, highlighting its lasting impact on community cohesion.

The success of Kasugay 2.0 was made possible through the generous sponsorships of Senators Sonny Angara, Bong Go, and Pia Cayetano, whose support underscored their commitment to the community’s well-being and growth.
