ISDA Extension Project Inspires Sustainable Aquaculture in Butig, Lanao del Sur

An unexpected power outage didn’t deter the ISDA Extension Project from making a significant impact. Held at Butig Municipal Hall on September 17, 2024, the initiative brought together experts from MSU-College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences to educate the PINDIG Agro-Fisheries Producer Cooperative on sustainable aquaculture practices.

Despite the challenges, the team successfully shared knowledge on water quality management, fish transport, feed formulation, and hands-on techniques, empowering the cooperative to build resilience and foster long-term growth.
