Goal :

1.Provide Quality, halal, safe and compassionate Midwifery care to women and their families throughout

• the Childbearing continuum.

      2.Emphasize women-centered, culturally sensitive care, ensuring respect and integration of halal principles.

Objectives :

           –  The College of Health Sciences, BS Midwifery Program is dedicated to develop a health worker who :

1. Possesses, Self-discipline, moral integrity and knowledge of the ethico-legal aspects of the profession.
2. Develops sensitive awareness of health needs and problems in the communities he/she serves.
3. Possesses caring behavior, nationalistic outlook, critical ability and competence in the exercise of his/her profession.

   4.Utilizes Midwifery process in assisting individual, family and community towards health maintenance,    

         illness prevention, health promotion, restoration and alleviation of sufferings.

5. Possesses knowledge, skills and attitude in research with the end view of utilizing research findings.
6. Participate in the community development through extension services.
7. Applies management concepts in the work setting as a leader or member of a team.

BS in Midwifery

   – is A four years Degree Program of CHS-MSU Main Campus Marawi City with the recommending

   – Approval from the MSU Campus, University System and CHS Curriculum Committee.

   –  Approval from the APC, University Council and the BOR.

   –  The program is aligned with the CHED  Memorandum Order No.3 series of 2023

The Academic offers include 14 majors, 15 minors, and more than 100 in major specializations so your degree will surely reflect your interests and strengths.
