Community Relations Office

The Importance of the creation of the Community Relations office was seriously felt in the University even during the time of the late Dr. Antonio Isidro, the founding president of the Mindanao State University. 

VISION

                The Community Relations Office shall endeavor to become an effective conduit unit in the promotion of a supportive and coordinative partnership between the Mindanao State University at Marawi and the Community for the attainment of common goal.

                 It shall endeavor further to become a responsible extension arm of the office of the Chancellor and/or the President of the University.

MISSION STATEMENT

         General Objective

               Assist the Office of the Chancellor and/or the President in maintaining and enhancing cordial and consistent relationships between the University and the Community in developing their support for the University and vice-versa.

          Specific Objectives

                 On the basis of Article 4, Section 51, 1987 MSUS Code of Governance, the following are the specific objectives and/or functions of the CRO:

               1. Handle public relation matters in MSU marawi and the immediate environment of the University.

               2. Establish good working relations with agencies or institutions with whom the University interacts;

               3. Promote support services for the entertainment activities in the campus.

The Academic offers include 14 majors, 15 minors, and more than 100 in major specializations so your degree will surely reflect your interests and strengths.

Not only does Mindanao State University provide you the practical skills that is necessary to transition seamlessly into the workforce upon your graduation, but we also make sure that you will have a good sense of social justice so that you make the transition responsibly.
