With the theme, “Redefining Psychology: The Transformative Power of Islamic Principles in Elevating Human Dignity,” the Islamic Psychology Summit 2024 was held at Universitas Gadjah Madah Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the 26th and 27th of October 2024 and organized by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP), and the Faculty of Psychology of Universitas Gadjah Madah.
The said international conference was attended by professionals in the field of Psychology, alongside its allied scientific field from different countries all around the world such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Palestine, Pakistan, India, Australia, Russia, Turkeye, Mauritius, Canada, UK, USA, etc. During the conference, Dr. Limpao’s astounding paper, entitled “Efficacy of Panginam: A Low-Intensity Psychological Intervention (LIPI) for Armed Conflict Family Survivors in Bangsamoro,” was judged by the Conference Selection Committee as the “Best Paper.”
