Summary of Feedback from Participants
Though few of the participants expressed their concern on the constraint time and schedule of the program, most of the participants were anticipating a future extension program that will hone their teaching pedagogies and skills.
Problems encountered during the preparation/conduct of the activity
Few problems and challenges were encountered in the program. First, was the lack of materials, particularly in the Science lecture. Before the implementation of the program, the materials needed are already purchased. However, there was a little problem with the illustration boards needed. The organizers bought only 1 illustration board when a total of 4 pieces were required. Fortunately, the organizers were able to purchase before the parallel session began. Moreover, the message was also delivered by Inst. Manar H. Macapodi, as Dr. Minerva Saminah M. Naga was absent due to important errands needed to be attended.
Suggested solutions to problems
These little problems and challenges were all provided with an immediate solution. The only problem that is stagnant and cannot be solved in the program was its schedule. The lectures were a bit done in rush due to the calling of prayer, which is significantly obligated to the men participants, and in which is also a resting day for the teachers.
Recommendations for similar programs/activities
A careful and systematic deliberation, meeting, planning, and preparation must be established before implementing a program for an efficient and flawless process.
