The canteen is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Where is the canteen located?

The canteen is located at 2nd Street, near MSU-ILS and in front of the International Convention Center (ICC), easily accessible within the university premises.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., halal, vegetarian)?

The university canteen offers menu options that cater to halal preferences, considering it operates in the Islamic City, where halal food aligns with the cultural and religious practices of the majority. However, we strive to promote inclusivity by ensuring our halal menu offers a wide variety of dishes to cater to diverse tastes and preferences. This approach allows everyone to enjoy meals that respect local traditions while embracing culinary diversity.

Are walk-ins allowed, or do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome for daily meals. However, reservations are required for catering, food packs, and venue rentals.

What areas within the university are covered by the delivery service?

We deliver to classrooms, offices, dormitories, and other designated areas within the university.

How do I place a food delivery order?

Is there a delivery fee?

A minimal delivery fee applies, depending on the location within the campus.

Can I schedule a delivery for a specific time?

Yes, you can indicate your preferred delivery time when placing your order.

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability.

Is setup and cleanup included in the catering service?

Yes, setup and cleanup are part of our catering package.

What’s included in a food pack?

A standard food pack includes a main dish, rice, and a side item or dessert. Beverage options can be added upon request.

Is there a minimum order quantity for food packs?

Yes, the minimum order is 10 food packs.

How long does it take to prepare food packs for bulk orders?

For bulk orders, we require at least 2-3 days’ notice to ensure timely preparation.

Do you provide special packaging for events or giveaways?

Yes, we offer customizable packaging for special occasions.

How do I book a venue?

You can book a venue by contacting our office or visiting us during office hours.

What amenities are included in the venue rental?

Amenities include tables, chairs, basic sound systems, and access to restrooms. Additional services can be arranged upon request.

Can I rent a venue without using the catering service?

Yes, venue rental is available independently of our catering services.

Is there a maximum capacity for your venues?

Yes, depending on the specific space.

What payment methods do you accept?

The Food Services Division only accepts cash payments.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the event are eligible for a full refund. For later cancellations, a partial refund will be provided.

Yes, we offer discounts for bulk orders and university-sponsored events. Contact us for details.
