The Information and Communications Technology Center is a key office at Mindanao State University – Marawi City dedicated to supporting the university’s mission through the use of advanced information and communications technology. It provides essential IT services, develops innovative solutions, and fosters ICT literacy. The center supports the MSU community and the wider region by driving technological progress, promoting research, and enhancing the digital capabilities of students, faculty, and staff.
The establishment of the ICTC as a separate entity from the College of Information Technology was formally approved through BOR Resolution No. 277, S. 2019 by the MSU Board of Regents during their 247th meeting held on July 29, 2019, at the CHED Conference Room, U.P. Diliman, Quezon City. This resolution, upon the recommendation of the University President and the Executive Committee, recognized the importance of an independent ICTC to further advance MSU’s technological goals.
Through strategic initiatives, ICTC aims to build a strong cyberculture, ensure security, and contribute to MSU’s overall growth and success in the digital age.
