MSU MARAWI SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 7TH COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES
Graduates of Batch 2024 officially concluded their Senior High School journey during the 7th Commencement Exercises for the S.Y. 2023-2024 on June 26, 2024 at Dimaporo Gymnasium.
Themed “Celebrating the Journey towards Higher Excellence through Perseverance, Integrity, and Empathy,” the program featured a total of 394 graduates from the different strands.
The ceremonial procession paid tribute to the faculty, staff, strand and track chairpersons, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs represented by its then OIC, Prof. Abdulnasser Lomantong, and finally, the School Director and the Guest Speaker.
Director Prof. Junaina M. Dimalna delivered her opening remarks for the graduates. The MSU System President Basari D. Mapupuno also delivered his message to the candidates, albeit through a video.
The graduates were then deeply honored and inspired by the message of the Guest Speaker, ATTY. MAISARA C. DANDAMUN-LATIPH, MNSA, the chairperson of the Marawi Compensation Board. She shared her experiences as a young student who made sure to rise against unkind discouragements and various difficulties through her education and even in her career.
The graduates were then presented by strand by their respective chairpersons. Prof. Junaina M. Dimalna then presented the whole graduating class to the representative of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Abdulnasser Lomantong, who wholeheartedly accepted the presentation and confirmed them as Senior High School graduates.
Class Valedictorian Potre Fatma-Allyssah R. Ranao then delivered her valedictory address, recounting the challenges, reminiscing the memorable moments, and reliving tough learnings in school. This was followed by the Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater, headed by Class Salutatorian Ms. Nariman P. Panolong.
Many thanks to the CSPEAR Dean, Dr. Hendely A. Adlawan, the PPD Director and University Engineer, Engr. Preciosa A. Dimaporo, the AVC Director, Ms. Alaniya Fahad and her staff, and the University Hostel and VIP lounge manager, Ms. Faisah Cader-Sangcopan.
Our sincerest thanks as well to the supportive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Amerkhan G. Cabaro, represented by Prof. Abdulnasser Lomantong of the CFES during the program.

As the graduates step forward into the next phase of their lives, equipped with invaluable knowledge and skills, surely they will continue to make a profound impact in their communities, in shaa Allah.
