As one of the major activities in a month-long celebration of the 63rd Founding Anniversary of the Mindanao State University System, the Zero Single-Use Plastics Policy was officially launched on September 09, 2024 at 8:09 AM, after the flag ceremony outside the Antonio Isidro Hall. The event was attended by the University officials headed by no less than the president himself, Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno. The launching was also graced by the officials from the PENRO, BARMM-MENRE, BARM-MHSD, and HOLCIM. The BOR Resolution No. 18, S. 2024, otherwise know as the Zero Single-Use Plastics Policy is sponsored by the Office of the President of the Mindanao State University and is well supported by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension, and Development (OVCRED).
