Prof. Arnold B. Asotigue became a member of the National Organization of ProfessionalTeachers, Inc. in 2001; Philippine Council of Mathematics Educators in 2007; Philippine Association of Lesson and Learning Studies in 2013 and KaSaMa Teachers Community in 2014. He is a licensed professional Mathematics teacher and presently a faculty of the Department of Secondary Teaching of the College of Education in MSU Main Campus, Marawi City. A former faculty at MSU Siawadato Community High School and Jamiatu Marawi Al- Islamia Foundation, Marawi City. He obtained his Master of Science Education in Mathematics, Diploma in Teaching High School Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in the same university. He is currently a candidate in his Ph.D. in Science Education –Mathematics as DOST and CHED scholar. He was a Special Assistant at the OVPAA and at the OVCAA – External Units and designated as Area Supervisor.
At present, he is the Adviser and former Vice Chair of the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. A regional trainer of the K to 12. A recipient of the Top Ten IBM eMentor Model Teacher Award in 2006. Presented a paper in the International Joint Conference on STEM Education via online presentation held at Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 1st International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research and Statistical Modelling in Quezon City; International Conference in Science and Mathematics Education at UP Diliman Quezon City and International Research Conference on Higher Education at Bacolod Pavilion Hotel , Bacolod City.
