Engr. Cayamora A. Macarambon is currently the Assistant University Engineer of the MSU-Physical Plant Division. She has worked under the University since 1986 beginning as a casual construction aide employee and 30 years later now as Engineer IV. She supervises different projects including building constructions repairs and maintenance and she is part of technical working groups of various events held within the University. She also assumes the responsibility of head of the PPD whenever Dir. Preciosa Dimaporo is on travel.
She is an esteemed member of different organizations including Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, MSU Alumni Association, MSU Administrative and Semi-Academic Union, MSU Botanical Garden Society and Road Engineering Association of the Philippines.
She uses her skills for the overall supervision and management of constructions in the University, and together with PPD, is responsible for safety of the workers and the public safety during construction. Estimating the required resources needed for the building construction and also compute its equivalent cost is one of her central functions as well as handling the workflow of construction projects and allocating the right resources at the right time and at the right place.
