Manar H. Macapodi is a faculty member at the Department of Secondary Teaching of the College of Education, Mindanao State University – Marawi City. A highly inquisitive & motivated College Instructor who teaches Language Education and Professional Education courses. She is known for her strong passion for innovative language pedagogy and is actively engaging in various trends in education research.
Ms. Macapodi is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Mindanao State University – Marawi City 2016. She also completed her Master of Arts in English Language Teaching at the same university in the year 2022. She is likely to pursue her Ph.D. degree this year 2023.
To wit her teaching experience, she spent her first four years (2017-2020) teaching at Miftahus Salam Integrated Academy (MSIA), Marawi City as a junior high school teacher. From basic education, she advanced to teaching in higher educational institutions where she had her first tertiary teaching experience at RC-Al Khwarizmi International College Foundation (RC-AKIC), Marawi City from 2020 to 2021.
In addition, Ms. Macapodi is a debater, public speaker, and writer. She was a member of Rostrum – MSU Marawi Debate Varsity and is now the official adviser and coach of El-Sophians, College of Education Debate Society, and of EMBER, Official Student Publication of College of Education.
She also renders extension services such as by conducting and participating in various activities inside and outside the university, and by serving as judge and keynote speaker to different events in line with her field and expertise.
