Myrna Macalalad Asira is an Associate Professor V, hailed in Batangas City. She is an AB Psychology Graduate with 36 units in Education at Lyceum of the Philippines, Batangas City on March 1983. She acquired the degree of Master of Education major in Guidance Counseling, with 36 units earned in Master of Education major in Educational Management at St. Michael’s College, Iligan City on March 20, 2011. On December 10, 1989, she passed the Professional Board Examination for Teachers (PBET) and still advocating for continuous lifelong learning during her days as the head of MSU-Malabang CHS. She worked hard to acquire the permit to offer the Senior High School Program on the said unit and successfully granted to accept enrollees on the General Academic Strand and HUMMS Strand. She has attended several trainings and workshops for teachers but the most memorable was in ECOTECH, Cebu City where she attended the Grade 10 National Training of Trainers (NTOT) of Teachers on K-12 Curriculum on Basic Education Program (BEP), and later became a trainer in the Regional Mass Training of Teachers (MTOT) on the K-12 curriculum (EBEC) in cluster 1 on May 11-16, 2015 and Cluster II on May 18-23, 2015 and was awarded a certificate of commendation for the said training/event. From then on it became her hobby to plan and organize seminars, workshops and trainings for teachers to update and enhance the learning skills of her students.
