An Engineer by profession who graduated at the University of the Visayas with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1996;

A student leader who has been a staunch ally of community organizing and a peace advocate in his university years having been the UV Chapter President of the SAIR (Student Alliance for Islamic Reform) in Cebu City and has been active as well with other youth organizations;

An alumnus of the MSU-UTC in his Secondary education;

While in his undergraduate studies at the MSU Main Campus, he became one of the youngest staff to have joined the team of his late father Capt. Rashid Abbas Mohamadali, then Chief Security of the MSU Peace Keeping Force;
 
He first stint at the government service was shortly after his college graduation as Project Engineer at the DPWH-10 1st Engineering District in Misamis Oriental.

He possesses vast working experience in Engineering works with various National Government Agencies such as the DPWH, DOTC, NIA and currently the MSU-PPD.

On July 2023, he was promoted from the ranks of the MSU-PPD as the new Chief of the Survey and R.O.W Section.
