Prof. Art Marvin Arañas is a dynamic academic and community leader whose career is defined by excellence in marketing, education, and youth empowerment. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing Management as a scholar of the Turkish Higher Education Council (2021–Present), furthering his expertise in global marketing strategies.
Prof. Arañas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Entrepreneurial Marketing from MSU-Main Campus, where he was a Consistent Department Honor’s Lister, reflecting his dedication to academic excellence. His early education also highlights his outstanding achievements:
- Broadcaster of the Year, Misamis Occidental National High School (Special Science Program).
- 4th Honorable Mention and Writer of the Year, Oroquieta City Central Elementary School.
- 1st Honors in all levels, Siquijor Central Primary School.
In just four years of service, Prof. Arañas has held several impactful roles, including:
- Former College Secretary.
- Special Assistant to the Office of the Vice President for Administration & Finance and the Entrepreneurship Training and Promotion Office (ETPO).
A committed mentor and leader, he is the Faculty Adviser of notable organizations, including The Marker, BAASC, and Mavens, the latter of which he founded to cultivate entrepreneurial and marketing talents.
Prof. Arañas is also a Certified Trainer under the Coca-Cola–TESDA STAR Program, empowering individuals through skills training and capacity-building initiatives. He co-founded Project97, a transformative program aimed at fostering entrepreneurial innovation, and earned global recognition as a Champion in the Youth Employment Category at the Global Youth Summit 2019.
