Jashim A. AbdulRahman is currently an Associate Professor V of King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies, Mindanao State University-Main Campus, Marawi City. He served in the said institution as College Secretary, College Research Coordinator and Department Chairperson. He is a professional lecturer of Mindanao State University, College of Law. He is a Shari’ah Bar Reviewer of Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Customary Laws (Adat), Persons, Family Relations and Property and Procedure in Shari’ah Courts. He is active also in research and writing, his reviewer entitled “Islamic Jurisprudence A Comprehensive Reviewer became well-known to the students of law, Shari’ah students, counsellors, and lawyers as a reviewer and reference material.
Jashim is a member of Integrated Bar of the Philippines having passed the Philippine Bar Examination in the Best Bar Ever 2020-2021. He is likewise a Shari’ah Lawyer having passed the Shari’ah Bar Examination as Second Placer in 2008. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies major in Shari’ah in Mindanao State University where he graduated Cum Laude and Class Valedictorian. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Muslim Law degree from the same institution.
