Roseniya Gamor Tamano is an Associate Professor V from the Department of Secondary Teaching, College of Education, Mindanao State University. She is a BSEd English graduate from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, Las Pinas City, and a master’s degree holder in Teaching the English Language from De La Salle University, Manila. At present, she is in her dissertation writing for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Language Studies at MSU, Marawi. Prof. Tamano is an author of published reading textbooks and international peer-reviewed research papers. She is also a creative writer having written an essay published by the Philippine Star and had composed and performed oratorical and declamation pieces. Her research interests are discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, language policy, language teaching, and language assessment. She teaches subjects on professional education, teaching and assessment of grammar, literature, and macro skills, structure of English, and research methods in her college unit.
