Sittie Aina T. Pandapatan, MA is a Licensed Professional Teacher, Career Service Eligible for passing the Civil Service Exam for Professional Level, and Honor Graduate Eligible for having been graduated as Cum Laude.
She is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English in Mindanao State University-Marawi Campus. She finished her Master of Arts in English Language Teaching in 2022 in the same university. Currently, she is taking Doctor of Philosophy in Language Studies in Graduate Studies Department, CSSH, MSU-Main.
As for her work experience, she has 5-year teaching experience in Hadiyyah International School (Basic Education) and Philippine Engineering and Agro-Industrial College, Inc (Higher Education) in different years. She served in those schools as Publication Coordinator, Student Affairs Coordinator, English teacher in elementary and high school, College instructor teaching General Education Courses and Education major subjects. Currently, she is designated as the Managing Editor of the ASEAN Journals (ASEAN Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities & ASEAN Journal of Science and Teachnology) of Mamitua Saber Research Center, MSU.
Her interests are mainly writing and speaking. Aside from hosting events, she has been into speaking engagements (different seminar and workshops) delivering talks in the field of research, journalism, and education.
In creative writing, some of her major engagements was her participation in the International Essay Contest for Young People of Goi Foundation of Tokyo, Japan through submitting her piece. She was also awarded as one of the best folk story writers in the Kalimantan-Mindanao Folk Story Writing. As one of the winners, her folk story was published in the book anthology of University of Tanjungpura in Indonesia.
In academic writing, she was able to publish 4 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals as main author and co-author. As a research enthusiast, she continues to write researches that can contribute to the body of knowledge. In fact, she was one of the awardees during the 1st Gawad Ongangen of MSU-College of Social Sciences and Humanities for being able to publish her research works.
She is an educator, a research enthusiast, and a journalist.
