Sittie Hafsah Macumbal Lomangco, PhD was an English teacher for 12 years in the Department of Education served as English & ICT Coordinator (2011-2014), School Paper Adviser ( 2014-2018), and School Research & Assessment Coordinator ( 2018-2022) . Currently, she is teaching in College of Education, Mindanao State University where she obtained her PhD in Language Studies (2022) and Master of Arts in English language Teaching (2014). She graduated her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Central Colleges of the Philippines, Quezon City last 2007. Her research interests focus on the Critical Discourse Analysis, Textual structure of Language, Corpus Linguistics, and MTB-MLE highlighted in her dissertation title “ The Critical Discourse Analysis of the DOH- News Media Campaign against COVID-19 Language”, and her Master`s thesis entitled “ The Language Use of Grade 1 Meranao in Lanao del Sur: A Corpus-based Analysis” presented during the 1st Langkit Conference 2014,MSU, Marawi City. She has also wrote an Adaptive Learning Modules for Senior high School Students in “Reading and Writing”, and in “ Empowering Technology” as contributed and recognized in the MBHTE-Lanao del Sur-1 ALMs Writer 2021.
