To commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29th in Marawi City, various activities and events were organized. There was peaceful demonstrations happened in the Most Affected Area (MAA) otherwise known as ground zero of Marawi City to raise awareness about the ongoing issues.
In the afternoon, with Idefend and student leaders of History department held peace dialogue in IPDM Convergence Hall, MSU Marawi City. They invited Drieza Lininding for short message. In this dialogue, Palestinian struggles were discussed, and students expressed their solidarity. There was also insightful discourse on the statement made by the Office of the President. The statement was significant of expression of support for Palestine’s collective aspirations for enduring peace and harmony.
