Technical and Bibliographical Services Division

MSU Main Campus - Marawi City > University Library > Technical and Bibliographical Services Division

About the Division

The Technical and Bibliographical Services Division (TSBD) is responsible for formulating and implementing standard acquisition and cataloging policies and procedures for consistency, uniformity, economy, and effective control of the recording, processing, and distribution of library materials.

It is where all the behind-the-scenes activities were done that a library undertakes to process library materials before they are ready for use by clientele.

Working collaboratively with other divisions, the TBSD works to select, acquire, organize, process, and provide access to information resources in all formats to enhance and support research and life-long learning through the KOHA-Integrated Library System for the Mindanao State University constituents.
