BSET CEM

Objectives of BSET CEM

  1. To produce graduates with a compelling education based in natural sciences, mathematics, engineering sciences, construction business and project management concepts, and deep disciplinary knowledge of civil and construction engineering.
  2. To develop students to have the ability to analyze, synthesize and evaluate information, solve engineering problems, and be prepared to effectively perform project engineering and management tasks for effective execution construction projects.
  3. Provide education that will enable to develop the abilities of the student to effectively communicate in a professional setting, work in diverse environment, engage in ethical decision making, and demonstrate professional growth and success through  life-long learning and professional involvement in construction industry.
  4. To produce graduates who will be able to design and construct research to cope with the latest trends in construction and adopt best technologies and management approaches in the rapidly changing fields of Construction Engineering Technology and Management.
  5. To develop students who are knowledgeable of contemporary issues and sensitivity to the challenge of meeting social, environmental, and economic constraints within a global community.
  6. To produce graduates  who are ready for either immediate employment or for graduate school opportunities in construction education.

DCT

Objectives of DCT

  1. To train skilled manpower requirements of specific magnitude and level of competence needs by the existing and projected industrial establishment in the cities of Marawi and Iligan and its environment.
  2. To develop graduates more likely to get a “hands on” laboratory testing and construction.
  3. To graduates with varied National Certificates (NCs) in construction.
  4. To develop graduates that has the ability to select and apply the knowledge, techniques, skills, and, modern day tools of the discipline.
  5. To develop graduates that have the ability to identify, analyze, and solve engineering technology problems.
  6. To develop graduates with the ability to apply written, oral and graphical communication in both non-technical environments and an ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature.
